Purpose Ensures reliability-driven maintenance activities deliver value to the business by optimizing resources, scheduling, and maintenance strategies while aligning maintenance priorities with operational needs to drive efficiency and reduce downtime.
Primary Responsibilities • Owns and manages the maintenance budget to ensure the effective use of resources • Challenges and prioritizes daily maintenance tasks to align with business goals and operational needs • Reviews and screens work requests for value, quality, appropriate resourcing, and prioritization, ensuring essential tasks to be executed • Provides coaching and guidance to operators to enable them to troubleshoot and resolve problems independently while creating high-quality Model Work Requests • Collaborates with Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Planners to ensure prioritization of work orders meets both operational and maintenance requirements • Ensures that Preventative Maintenance Plans (PPM) are given appropriate priority and executed according to the maintenance schedules • Works closely with the Maintenance Scheduler and Production Scheduling to align maintenance activities with production schedules, minimize downtime, and maximize efficiency • Develops and adjusts maintenance forecasts as well as weekly and daily schedules to meet changing operational demands • Ensures timely and proper closure of Work Orders in accordance with technical specifications and Financial controls.
