In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the operational integrity of facility equipment by creating diagnostic techniques, spotting improvement needs, and implementing enhancement strategies. You'll host meetings centered on optimizing equipment dependability, conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis sessions, and provide comprehensive training on reliability practices. A major aspect of this position includes spearheading the design and execution of the site's Mechanical Integrity initiatives to boost efficiency and ensure adherence to industry standards. Key tasks include delivering technical guidance for maintenance operations to bolster reliability and evaluating performance data to pinpoint and remediate system inefficiencies. You'll be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing preventive maintenance and mechanical integrity frameworks, as well as coordinating projects with cross-functional teams, including external vendors. Additionally, the role demands involvement in safety analyses, incident reviews, and change management processes, alongside managing inspections and maintenance schedules. The successful candidate will effectively lead small-scale capital projects up to $150K, aiming for cost reduction without compromising operational excellence. Essential qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, extensive experience in a chemical production setting, and proficiency in plant equipment, reliability techniques, and maintenance protocols. Familiarity with SAP or similar maintenance systems is advantageous and strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are critical.
