The Facilities Team at Givens Estates, a leading continuing care retirement community in Asheville, has a Full-Time Maintenance Painter position available. The primary purpose of your position is to provide maintenance painting and finishing services to the residents and employees for Givens Estates, and to assure that the highest degree of quality care will be provided to our residents at all times.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. 

What you'll do:

• Perform painting services for residents working within the work order procedure
• Work with Supervisor to keep an adequate listing of paint and painting supplies; purchase supplies and services as requested by supervisor
• Maintain records of paint colors used throughout the facility
• Perform routine and preventative painting/touchup in commons areas
• Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor

What you'll need:

• High School or GED equivalent is preferred

Compensation: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour based on background and experience, plus our comprehensive benefits package!
