Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Operations Control Duty Manager to lead our Maintenance Operations Control center and ensure operational excellence. This role offers a competitive salary range of $113,000 - $130,000 along with travel privileges on the American Airlines global network for you and your loved ones.
 
As the Maintenance Operations Control Duty Manager, you will directly oversee maintenance control activities and personnel. Your responsibilities will include providing leadership, managing maintenance planning, coordinating AOG desk activities, and ensuring fleet administration efficiency. You will be accountable for operational decisions, including aircraft recovery, to support daily operations and uphold safety standards.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead maintenance control staff to deliver superior customer service and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with senior management to enhance maintenance operations performance and efficiency.
  • Manage irregular maintenance operations, including out-of-service aircraft return and OCF approval.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve maintenance operations.
  • Ensure maintenance activities meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Provide support during IROP (Irregular Operations) and out-of-service events, collaborating with the OCC (Operations Control Center) Duty Manager.
 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Five years of technical and management experience in a 49CFR Part 121 Airline operation.
  • Current FAA “Airframe and Powerplant” license.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build effective teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
