· Must have high school diploma or equivalent
· Minimum of 3+ year experience as millwright / mechanic in an industrial setting
· Knowledge of OSHA rules and industry safety measures and precautions
· Physically able to complete job assignments
· Good communication skills
· Must be able to work well in a team environment
· Must be self-motivated
· Must supply own hand tools
· Assembling and installing machinery
· Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
· Must be able to make accurate measurements to align and fit components together, use of a variety of hand tools, squares, rules and other measuring equipment
· Able to operate equipment such as grinders, shears, drill presses and saws for fabrication and modifying machine parts
· Fabrication skills is a must
· Must possess the ability to MIG, Arc/Stick and Braze weld
· Must possess the ability oxy-acetylene torch cut
· Need to be well versed in all types of couplings, bearings, gears and their alignments
· Must possess knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, power transmissions, various pumps, conveyors and gearboxes
· Must possess the ability to troubleshoot problems with the equipment and determine root causes
· Must possess basic knowledge of 480V, 220V, 110V electrical circuitry
· Steam boiler and HVAC knowledge is a plus
· Basic PLC knowledge is a plus
· Must possess keen intuition on following Preventative Maintenance instructions on all equipment
The Maintenance Milwright position will be part of our maintenance deparment. They'll work to ensure machinery and the building are maintained and runing efficiently. This position is for our second shift. The pay range depends on the experience you have.
