Maintenance Mechanic

Position Summary 

Responsible for maintaining equipment ● troubleshooting on electrical and hydraulic components.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Maintaining equipment running 

● performing preventive maintenance

● remove or replace defective components 

● repair rebuilt hydraulic cylinders 

● hydraulic valves.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Must have at least 5 years of experience in:  

·         reading electrical schematics 

·         hydraulic system schematics 

·         blue prints

·         5 years of electrical industrial experience in high voltage

·         Ability to organize and / prioritize and complete multiple tasks

·         Welding experience

·         Will perform special functional and structural work when needed

Will be working in loud noise areas of production 

● high heat temperature production areas 

●Very dusty areas. Personal protection equipment will be required in these areas.

● This job will require employee to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and walk/climb stairs and ladders, and extend arms and hands to reach.

●Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. 

●noise level is usually moderate to intense.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions
