Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a manufacturing company is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Team supporting production.  The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical repair skills, electrical troubleshooting experience and a can-do attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic-1st shift 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Location: Wauwatosa, WI

Pay Range: $34-36/hour + OT and bonus potential

What’s the Job?

• Assist Maintenance Lead in the development and execution of day-to-day strategic improvement plans for site maintenance

• Implement all maintenance-related company requirements as per company policies and procedures and maintain full compliance, including assisting Maintenance Lead with maintenance and development of the site Mechanical Integrity program.
  
  Examine equipment failure and assist Maintenance Lead in revising the Preventative Maintenance program as required to improve safety, optimize uptime, and reduce cost.

• Provide troubleshooting support including on the off-shifts as needed.

• Troubleshoot and make physical repairs to manufacturing, packaging, and facility equipment.

What’s Needed?

• Ability to work on plant floor 90% of time. 
• Strong experience repairing production equipment. 
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills  (120/220/480V)
• Be part of a small, cohesive team]
