SUMMARY
Works under the direction of Plant Operations Manager to plan, coordinate and direct the work activities of the Building Maintenance and Building Service Worker components of the Plant Operations Department. May coordinate and direct the work activities of the Grounds Maintenance component of the Plant Operations Department as needed in the absence of the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Works under the direction of Plant Operations Manager to plan, coordinate and direct the work activities of the Building Maintenance and Building Service Worker components of the Plant Operations Department
Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and physical condition of the campus and equipment, including various mechanical and systems
Operates all machinery and equipment necessary to perform duties
Assists in the supervision of contracted work on construction projects
Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving problems
Reviews and approves timesheets
Develops thorough knowledge of department operations and procedures
Interprets company policies and enforces safety regulations
Conducts performance reviews of all reporting employees.
Physically works alongside reporting employees to demonstrate job specific expectations and to further develop their skills
Performs other duties as assigned
