Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Education/Experience: Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school; or 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Good working knowledge of electricity, plumbing, steam, mechanical systems and HVAC. Licenses/Certificates: Ability to train for and receive necessary certifications, i.e. EPA section 608 certification. Must have valid driver's license and good driving record. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping, crouching, crawling, working from ladders, scaffolds, man lifts and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee will be frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration and be occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at job sites. The noise level can be loud. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a Full-Time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. This is an on-call after hours position. Travel: Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area travel may be expected.
