Job Overview

We're looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic IV to join our team and play a critical role in keeping our operations running at peak performance. In this role, you will work on a wide range of electromechanical systems, ensuring equipment reliability while driving improvements that directly impact productivity and efficiency.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned maintenance professional who enjoys hands‑on troubleshooting, solving complex problems, and making meaningful improvements in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Work extensively with PLC-controlled equipment (Allen Bradley or similar) to resolve issues and improve performance
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain production flow
  • Execute electrical work from low voltage through 480V 3-phase systems safely and effectively
  • Analyze equipment failures and apply root cause problem-solving techniques
  • Recommend and implement equipment and process improvements
  • Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure quality and consistency in production
  • Utilize maintenance systems (CMMS) to track work orders, PMs, and performance
  • Partner with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and adhere to all safety standards

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS

The individual may be asked to perform other duties as requested by management.

Schedule & Benefits

Shift: Monday-Thursday | 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Shift Differential: +12%

Overtime: Available as needed

Work a 4-day schedule with extended weekends rotation

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5-6+ years of industrial maintenance experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial electrical systems
  • Solid background in mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and equipment repair
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment (injection molding a plus)

  • Remain in a stationary position while troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
  • Regularly move about to access different parts of the plant and when transporting parts, equipment weighing up to 30-40 pounds.
  • Ascend/descend stairs/ladders to access and work atop machine's, using scissor and boom lifts, when working at heights.
  • Operate, position, and use a wide variety of hand tools and equipment, as well as a computer keyboard and mouse.
  • Move about the manufacturing facility to observe and effectively communicate with team members and perform job duties.

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $59,600- $89,400 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
