Our client is seeking experienced Maintenance Mechanics to support a high‑volume manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, self‑directed, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment.

Compensation: $25–$35/hr. + overtime opportunities


Work Schedules:

  • 1st Shift | 6:30AM–7:00AM to 3:00PM–3:30PM
  • 2nd Shift | 3:30PM to Midnight
  • 3rd Shift | 11:00PM/Midnight to 7:00AM

Responsibilities:

  • Follow all facility, state, federal, and food‑safety regulations.
  • Support safe startup and shutdown procedures for assigned areas.
  • Identify potential equipment issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Document work performed, parts used and follow‑up needs in the CMMS.
  • Assist in training new technicians and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, production teams, and fellow technicians.
  • Conduct routine area inspections, generate work orders, and complete safety‑related tasks.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and use diagnostic instruments to identify issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and ensure equipment is maintained in optimal operating condition.
  • Diagnose and repair production equipment across electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot PLC‑controlled equipment, variable speed AC drives, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and related components.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and operate diagnostic tools.
  • Working knowledge of PLC operation (no programming required)
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems for work orders and PM documentation.
  • 3–5 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience repairing PLC‑controlled equipment and AC drives (operation/troubleshooting)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining, assembly practices, tools, and fixtures.
  • All education levels considered; technical school training or equivalent hands‑on experience is fully acceptable.

Preferred Skills:

  • TIG and stick welding skills.
  • Experience in food manufacturing or other hygiene‑regulated environments.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Fast‑paced production environment.
  • Must follow all safety and food‑safety protocols.
  • Requires standing, walking, climbing, and working around machinery.
