We’re looking for a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to help us maintain our state-of-the-art facilities and ensure operational excellence.
Job Overview
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain buildings and plant utility equipment. This role involves a variety of tasks, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and carpentry work. You’ll also be working with HVAC systems, steam boilers, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair plant building components such as doors, windows, and flooring.
- Perform mechanical tasks involving various systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and plant utility equipment.
- Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and soldering equipment.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and electrical schematics.
- Use SAP CMMS for work orders and documentation.
- Report deficiencies and maintain a clean work environment.
- Operate forklifts and scissors lifts for maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with outside contractors for repairs.
- Be available for occasional weekend work.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education.
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
- Ability to pass the Client Technical Aptitude Assessment and background screening.
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
- Physical ability to handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs and perform tasks in various conditions.
Preferences
- Experience with SAP CMMS.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and industrial chillers.
