Requirements
- Experience maintaining manufacturing equipment and industrial machinery
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, and power transmission troubleshooting skills
- Experience with programmable logic controls (PLCs)
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to operate machine tools, including lathes and grinders
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to production needs
Job Duties
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete repairs and installations
- Install, align, move, dismantle, and maintain production machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, power transmission, and PLC-controlled systems
- Inspect machinery to identify equipment malfunctions and implement repairs
- Fabricate replacement parts using machine tools such as lathes and grinders
- Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and equipment adjustments
- Develop and maintain a Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) program, including ISO documentation and preventive maintenance schedules
- Utilize predictive maintenance techniques and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to improve equipment reliability
- Create and manage spare parts inventories for production equipment
- Identify and implement projects to improve machine performance and production efficiency
- Provide basic equipment operation and maintenance training to production employees
- Respond promptly to equipment issues to minimize downtime
- Follow all company safety policies and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
