Atlas Roofing Shingle and Underlayment is seeking aMaintenance MechanicforClinton IA.Maintenance MechanicPrimary ResponsibilitiesResponsible for installing repairing adjusting modifying troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on all types of plant equipment and facility.Responsible for following all plant and safety rules including all safety Personal Protective Equipment PPE requirements.Inspect dismantle repair replace install clean and assemble as necessary to maintain equipmentbuildings as necessary. Able to communicate information to maintenance supervision and engineering to assist in analyzing equipment or for the purpose of making equipment modifications.Perform pipe installations and repairs in various pipelines.Interpret blueprints for equipment information and installation.Works with maintenance supervisor to ensure a sufficient level of back up spares for all mechanical equipment.Utilize torches welders and burning equipment.Maintains daily shift inspection and repair logs for review by supervision and other plant personnel.Support and cultivate the reliability culture.Ability to hold peers accountable in a positive manner.Minimal travel requirements as needed for training etc. as determined by Supervision.All other responsibilities as assigned by Supervision.Maintenance MechanicExperienceMinimum of 1 year of experience in a Manufacturing Environment in the Maintenance departmentMaintenance MechanicKnowledge Skills & AbilitiesOrganization Must have sound organizational skills to process job related data and in relation to work area materials.Communication Ability to provide relevant and timely information in a clear manner.Follow Through Fulfills the requirements of the position as described.
