Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
  • Diagnose issues with sensors, switches, wiring, and control systems (up to 480V)
  • Conduct major equipment repairs, including overhauls and rebuilds
  • Maintain and service equipment such as molding machines, conveyors, gearboxes, compressors, and stamping equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations (LOTO, OSHA) and company safety standards
  • Independently identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1+ year of maintenance or industrial experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems (single-phase & three-phase, up to 480V)
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems (including air compressors)
  • Ability to troubleshoot using diagnostic tools and technical methods
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet physical job requirements

Preferred / Additional Skills

  • Experience with PLCs or computer-controlled equipment
  • Knowledge of HAZMAT procedures and safety systems
  • Certifications such as HAZWOPER or Confined Space (or willingness to obtain)
