Maintenance Mechanic - 1st and 2nd shift Available!

Job Description

Advance Services has immediate openings for Maintenance Mechanics at a local manufacturing facility in Grand Island, NE! We are seeking dependable candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. This position is responsible for performing machine repairs, installations, and maintenance functions on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment while ensuring smooth operation of plant equipment and facilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Install, relocate, and remove new or existing equipment as needed.
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment including PLCs, A.C. and D.C. motors, production machines, engines, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Utilize testing equipment along with hand and power tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, micrometers, and tape measures accurately.
  • Diagnose equipment problems, plan repairs, and communicate updates with supervisors.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment while following company safety procedures.
