Responsibilities include supervising staffing and operations, coordinating with the airport, establishing safety training programs, leading technicians, improving maintenance capacity, managing employee development, controlling costs, and ensuring a safe work environment. The role involves reporting maintenance issues, maintaining records, and collaborating across departments.
Core competencies required are coaching, problem solving, process management, relationship building, and resource management.
Qualifications include 3-5 years of supervisory experience, aviation industry knowledge, mechanical/electrical/engineering training, troubleshooting skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Flexibility for shift work and weekends, experience with baggage handling systems, and a good safety record are essential.
