Maintenance Manager | Mason, MI

Salary Range: $86,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Mason seeking Maintenance Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment.
  • Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, optimizing resource allocation and controlling costs.
  • Oversee the procurement and inventory of spare parts and critical maintenance supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Implement and manage a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Recommended Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in preventative maintenance (PM) and total productive maintenance (TPM) systems.
  • Strong understanding of industrial equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Bonus Qualifications
  • CMRP or other relevant maintenance certification
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Proficiency in CMMS software beyond basic data entry and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor maintenance technicians
