LHH is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a direct hire, permanent placement position with a manufacturing client in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organization in one of the fastest growing industries in America. In this role,you will lead a maintenance team and direct all maintenance activities across the manufacturing facility. You will lead key initiatives, capital projects, and focus on preventative maintenance. The compensation ranges between $105,000-115,000 per year plus bonus and includes multiple medical insurance options, 401k plan with a company match, and generous PTO and holiday offerings.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all activities of the maintenance personnel across your assigned shift as they repair, install, and update equipment within the facility
Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team as they inspect, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain plant equipment
Create and implement preventative maintenance initiatives, improve uptime, and decrease equipment errors/downtime
Assist with the strategic vision of the department, develop plans and budgets, complete staff scheduling, and conduct training
Lead and complete various capital projects
Inspect facilities periodically to identify problems and create weekly maintenance schedules so work can be allocated
Serve as a valuable member of the leadership team and develop the maintenance budget
Monitor the inventory of materials, replacement parts, and equipment
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
Be on the floor to assist with the team whenever the need arises
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is required
Must have 8+ years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing facility (candidates from distribution, health care, nursing facilities, residential, construction, and related industries will NOT be considered for this role)
Must have 5+ years of leadership experience directly managing maintenance and/or engineering staff within a manufacturing facility
Must have experience troubleshooting PLCs
Must have strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and MRO needs
Must have knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
Must demonstrate a strong understanding of budgeting and performance management
Must be willing to learn, self-motivated, and a positive leader
