Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: Houston, TX area

Pay: $140,000-$150,000 + 22.5% annual bonus

Schedule: Monday - Friday days

Job Description:
The Maintenance Manager directs the continuous inspection, repair, and reliable operation of power generation assets. This role minimizes unexpected downtime, oversees routine and emergency maintenance, and ensures full compliance with industry safety regulations.

Core Responsibilities

Develop and enforce preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies across electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation/control systems.
Hire, train, and schedule maintenance technicians, fostering a strong safety and continuous improvement culture.
Plan and coordinate complex annual outages to ensure manpower, materials, and schedules are optimally met.
Oversee department operating budgets, manage capital improvement projects, negotiate with external contractors, and monitor spare parts inventory.
Enforce strict adherence to OSHA, EPA, and facility environmental/safety policies.

Key Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related technical field).
5 to 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial plant maintenance, with 3 to 5+ years in a supervisory or management capacity.
