Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager is primarily responsible for troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and process improvement of mechanical equipment to include; PLC’s robots and other computer-controlled equipment used to support production operations. This position will help support general facilities maintenance, while overseeing the Maintenance Technicians on each shift.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the upkeep and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
- Plan and coordinate repairs should malfunctions occur.
- Observe and monitor the optimal deployment of labor, material and time.
- Plan and coordinate the preventative maintenance of all equipment.
- Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments.
- Supervise all maintenance technicians and external contractors.
- Evaluate employee through performance review, ongoing coaching and feedback methods.
- Oversees the cleaning and maintenance of the Horicon Facility.
Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of safety standards and machine guarding.
- Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position.
- Working experience with PM programs, scheduling and maintaining sub-contractors as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Good analytical/critical thinking.
- 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing management or facility management.
- Bachelor degree in business preferred but not required.
