Overview:

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager is primarily responsible for troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and process improvement of mechanical equipment to include; PLC’s robots and other computer-controlled equipment used to support production operations. This position will help support general facilities maintenance, while overseeing the Maintenance Technicians on each shift. 

Responsibilities:
  • Managing the upkeep and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
  • Plan and coordinate repairs should malfunctions occur.
  • Observe and monitor the optimal deployment of labor, material and time.
  • Plan and coordinate the preventative maintenance of all equipment.
  • Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments.
  • Supervise all maintenance technicians and external contractors.
  • Evaluate employee through performance review, ongoing coaching and feedback methods.
  • Oversees the cleaning and maintenance of the Horicon Facility.
Qualifications:
  • Good knowledge of safety standards and machine guarding.
  • Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position.
  • Working experience with PM programs, scheduling and maintaining sub-contractors as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Good analytical/critical thinking.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing management or facility management.
  • Bachelor degree in business preferred but not required.
