The Maintenance Manager will manage and administer the Maintenance department staff, to include: Safety, efficiency, reliabiltity, training, continous improvement, and mininum machine down time. The Maintenance Manager will lead, develop, train, and hold the maintenance deparmtent accoutnable to daily preventative maintenance tasks. • Lead the maintenance department to include front line mechanics. • Excellent mechanical aptitude required. • Lead in the planning, organizing, and administration of plant capital projects. • Select, control, and administer maintenance equipment and facilities projects. • Direct and administer preventative and predictive maintenance programs. • Monitor department personnel training. • Maintain equipment adequate and good operating standards. • Maintain professional communication within the organization and across departments. • Supervise records related to facilities, maintenance upkeeping, maintain them readily available. • Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities. • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. • A team player with the ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels. • Ability to perform the physical labor necessary to repair, inspect, and maintain equipment. • General knowledge of ventilation, air conditioning heating, refrigeration, electrical plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other generally accepted maintenance skills. • Knowledge of city and state building codes, OSHA requirements, and ADA Laws.
