Our customer in Elkhart, IN is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all maintenance operations for a manufacturing facility, ensuring equipment uptime and operational efficiency
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules, work orders, vendor relationships, and maintenance budgeting
- Supervise and support a tenured maintenance team while driving accountability and responsiveness
- Partner with production leadership to prioritize repairs, equipment improvements, and downtime reduction efforts
- Oversee maintenance activities for industrial manufacturing equipment, dust collection systems, and facility infrastructure
Required Skills / Experience
- Previous maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong background in preventative maintenance planning, scheduling, and CMMS systems
- Experience managing maintenance budgets, outside contractors, and vendor relationships
- Working knowledge of industrial equipment, electrical/mechanical systems, and troubleshooting processes
- Ability to lead veteran maintenance teams and operate effectively in a fast-paced production environment
