About the Role 

As the Maintenance Manager - Distribution Center you will oversee all aspects of maintenance and repairs for a DC with a goods-to-person system (G2P), typical material handling equipment and an attached office environment.  This role will support daily operations by keeping the equipment operating in a safe and efficient manner.  This role will provide leadership and a hands-on approach to maintaining equipment, troubleshooting problems and performing repairs across the facility in addition to the development and management of a preventative maintenance program.  This role will require a mix of hands-on work while leading a dedicated maintenance team and coordinating with external vendors to service and maintain equipment.  

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Oversee support, preventative maintenance and repairs for all aspects of Worldpac’s new distribution center, including an AutoStore goods to person system.   

  • Lead, train, and develop a team of AutoStore-focused technicians who will keep the ASRS functioning at peak efficiency with a focus on safety and efficiency.  

  • Oversee maintenance of facility systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.  Serve as point person for waste/recycling programs, fire safety, and system testing and compliance.    

  • Support a safe work environment by addressing equipment-related safety concerns. Maintain required OSHA documentation in coordination with EH&S team.  Ensure maintenance practices meet safety and regulatory standards.  

  • Coordinate changes/improvements to facility in collaboration with landlord, building management, operations, local officials and 3rd party vendors.   

What You Bring 

  • You have 5+ years of experience working with electrical, mechanical or pneumatic systems.  

  • You thrive at troubleshooting automated systems and you like learning new things about robotics.  

  • You've led successful teams, managed spare parts inventory and a maintenance budget 

  • You have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform 8 or more hours of standing, bending, lifting, walking and carrying products in combination at any given time.  

  • You have strong communication skills & are proficient in English (verbal and written)  

  • You are looking to work Monday through Friday and can work occasional Saturdays as needed. You flex your schedule to handle urgent facility needs, even outside normal hours.

Worldpac expects to pay a base salary in the range provided on this job posting. Generally, we look to bring in candidates around the 50th percentile of the advertised range. However, this is never a guarantee. Within the range, individual pay will be determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
