About the Community:
This community is centered around a large, private lake. Residents enjoy recreational boating, skiing, and boat docks inspired homes along a recreational lake. The community consists of four separate associations.
Our Maintenance Lead is responsible for assigning work orders and their completion as well as supporting maintenance and groundskeeping staff in the community. Will provide guidance and assistance where needed for team members with their assigned tasks and work with Maintenance Manager to resolve work orders that exceed standard daily process
What you’ll accomplish:
Support daily upkeep of the community grounds and facilities by groundskeeping and maintenance staff, work with Maintenance Manager to plan and allocate staff
Monitoring, prioritizing and completing maintenance work orders through Trello and SeeClickFix/Daybreak Direct (or other community task software)
Operating within OSHA standards and company safety policies, including monitoring, reporting and resolving issues with common area/amenity equipment, tools and vehicles
Supporting the Maintenance Manager through record keeping, assignment tracking, and vendor assistance, as well as providing coverage when the manager is offsite or otherwise unavailable
Maintaining the inventory of supplies / equipment needed to perform duties by team
Provide coverage and support when the maintenance manager is offsite or unavailable
May work in conjunction with the Operations Manager and/or Operations Tech to accomplish goals in the community
What we’re looking for:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years old
Must have at least 2 years of general maintenance and landscape knowledge as well as understand best practices for grounds keeping and care/upkeep of community amenities and common areas
Skills/experience in carpentry, HVAC, electric, plumbing and other building trades
Experience in landscaping, irrigation and grounds maintenance highly helpful
Must be organized, efficient and have the ability to recognize the level of quality acceptable to keep facilities looking their best
Ability to communicate with residents, managers and peers in an effective way
Flexibility to work after-hours and weekends
Problem solving skills
Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving history
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and physical
If driving is, or becomes, a requirement of the role, it is required, at all times, that you hold a valid state driver’s license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits. You must notify Human Resources immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing. CCMC may periodically review motor vehicle reports to ensure compliance with these requirements.
The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:
Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.
Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 50 pounds.
Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
Driving: Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions. (Please note: We will request and review an MVR at the time of hire and on a periodic basis thereafter to ensure that employees maintain a satisfactory driving status.)
