Hire Up Staffing Maintenance / Janitorial / Associate
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance / Janitorial / Demolition Associate for a client in the area. This is a 4-week assignment with the possibility of extension and potential temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate.
Pay:
$17.00 $19.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Monday Friday
6:00 AM 2:30 PM
Position Summary:
We are looking for an established maintenance professional who is comfortable working in physically demanding environments and is ready to jump in wherever needed. The ideal candidate will have experience with janitorial duties, demolition work, painting, general labor, and heavy clean-up. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to perform in the trenches and takes pride in getting the job done safely and efficiently.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and janitorial duties
- Assist with demolition and construction clean-up
- Paint walls, equipment, and facility areas as needed
- Handle lumping/loading and unloading materials
- Remove debris, trash, and maintain clean work areas
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Support warehouse or facility operations as assigned
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance, janitorial, demolition, or general labor required
- Experience with painting and heavy clean-up preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials
- Comfortable working in physically demanding conditions
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Steel toe boots may be required
