The Maintenance II position works under the supervision of the Director and/or Manager. Performs installation, service, calibration, evaluation, documentation, and preventative maintenance to various equipment including, but not limited to, ice machines, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety systems, hospital beds, stretchers, and exam tables.

- Performs installation, service, calibration, evaluation, safety inspection, documentation and preventive maintenance to a variety of various equipment including, but not limited to ice machines, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety systems, hospital beds, stretches, and exam tables. This is accomplished through use of manufacturer''s specifications and service information, and established industry and regulatory safety standards.
- Maintains current knowledge of applicable codes, policies, and regulations from governing organizations such as, JCAHO, NFPA, OSHA, etc.
- Attends equipment service training classes as necessary.
- Provides accurate documentation of all work performed through work orders and updating of history files.
- Sets up preventive maintenance procedures as applicable.
- Orders parts or coordinates service as needed to complete repairs of equipment, including consulting with the manufacturers/vendors technical support staff as needed and adhering to established organization purchasing policies.
- Assists in the CER process by performing evaluation and research on proposed equipment purchases.
- In-services physicians and hospital staff on equipment operation.
- Actively participates in various cross-functional work teams and committees

- 2 Years - Mechanical, electrical and building maintenance - Required
- Must have computer work order entry experience - Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Driver''s License - Valid In State - Required within 90 Days
- Universal EPA CFC Certification - Required within 1 1/2 Yrs
- Driver''s License - Valid In State - Missouri Class E or equivalent Driver''s License - Preferred Upon Hire
- HVAC License - HVAC license preferred - Preferred Upon Hire

- Must be able to travel between various system facilities and off-site locations as needed. - Required
