Now Hiring: Maintenance Foreman | Direct Hire

Location: Williamsport, MD

Pay Rate: $40.00 per hour

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of four years of maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Journeyman-level maintenance experience preferred
  • Strong background in mechanical, electrical, millwright, equipment installation, welding, and fabrication work
  • Proven leadership, training, mentoring, and team development skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical data, and maintenance documentation
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to delegate work and coordinate resources effectively
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in industrial environments with varying temperatures, noise, machinery, and physical demands
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and on-call assignments
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement corrective actions promptly

Job Duties:

  • Supervise daily maintenance activities and provide shop floor leadership to the maintenance team
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager with scheduling, planning, and assigning maintenance work throughout the facility
  • Train, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel to support performance and skill growth
  • Monitor workforce effectiveness, productivity, and adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Coordinate equipment repairs, maintenance activities, and parts procurement with the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Maintain accurate records including work orders, PM schedules, prints, material requisitions, and parts inventories
  • Work with outside vendors and contractors on maintenance projects and equipment repairs
  • Perform hands-on maintenance work when needed to support operational requirements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, PPE requirements, and environmental, health, and safety procedures
  • Support continuous plant operations by being available for all shifts and on-call situations as needed
