Maintenance Floor Technician (FT) | Environmental Services | Ames | 2026-154

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a Maintenance Floor Technician for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: maintaining a variety of floor surfaces at McFarland clinic locations. Operates various floor buffing and cleaning equipment and is proficient with a variety of cleaning chemicals and supplies. Performs duties in accordance with McFarland Clinic's Core Values and Promise. This position will not begin until November

Education

• High School Diploma, GED or HiSET

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

Certificate/License

• Valid driver's license and authorization to drive company vehicles by McFarland Clinic Auto Insurance carrier, if job assignment requires driving a company vehicle.
• Have/Willing to obtain floor care certification from ISSA

Experience

• Previous hard surface floor care experience preferred.
• Previous McFarland Clinic experience preferred.

Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
