Guest room and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. A General Maintenance Engineer will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills.\n \nDuties include, but are not limited to: \n\n Respond and attend to guest repair requests. \n Communicate with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues. \n Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. \n Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio).\n Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings.\n Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.\n* Communicate each day's activities and problems that occur to the other shifts using approved communication standards.\n\n
