What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Engineer III, you’ll play a key role in ensuring hospital facilities and systems operate at peak performance. You’ll work independently to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of building equipment and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize facility systems for safe and efficient operation
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems
  • Diagnose and repair issues involving electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
  • Maintain and service boilers, chillers, pumps, motors, and related systems
  • Repair or replace valves, pipes, fixtures, fittings, and other facility components
  • Respond to maintenance requests and operational issues in a timely manner
  • Support emergency system testing and drills
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, and service documentation
  • Assist with overall facility upkeep and collaborate across trades when needed

 What We’re Looking For

A dependable, solutions-oriented professional with strong technical knowledge and the ability to stay calm under pressure, with hands on experience across electrical, mechanical and building systems, with an ability to respond to a variety of maintenance needs, and keep critical systems operating smoothly would be an ideal candidate for this role.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Trade school coursework in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and repairs
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and facility best practices
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
