What You’ll Do
As a Maintenance Engineer III, you’ll play a key role in ensuring hospital facilities and systems operate at peak performance. You’ll work independently to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of building equipment and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize facility systems for safe and efficient operation
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems
- Diagnose and repair issues involving electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
- Maintain and service boilers, chillers, pumps, motors, and related systems
- Repair or replace valves, pipes, fixtures, fittings, and other facility components
- Respond to maintenance requests and operational issues in a timely manner
- Support emergency system testing and drills
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, and service documentation
- Assist with overall facility upkeep and collaborate across trades when needed

A dependable, solutions-oriented professional with strong technical knowledge and the ability to stay calm under pressure, with hands on experience across electrical, mechanical and building systems, with an ability to respond to a variety of maintenance needs, and keep critical systems operating smoothly would be an ideal candidate for this role.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Trade school coursework in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and repairs
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues
- Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and facility best practices
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
