About the Role
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and performance.Troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.Drive asset reliability improvements through data-driven maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain accurate GMP documentation, standard operating procedures, maintenance records, and compliance logs.Manage maintenance activities and work orders using SAP Plant Maintenance and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.Support equipment projects, commissioning activities, upgrades, and operational improvement initiatives.Coordinate vendors, safety requirements, and daily maintenance activities to ensure efficient site operations.Essential RequirementsBachelor''s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.Up to 5 years of experience in maintenance, engineering, or manufacturing environments.Knowledge of pumps, agitators, vessels, piping systems, and industrial equipment.Strong problem-solving skills with a structured, data-driven approach to decision-making.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, analysis, and presentations.Exposure to sterile, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.Adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn, embrace new technologies, and drive continuous improvement.Familiarity with asset reliability principles, predictive maintenance practices, SAP, or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.Desirable RequirementsComfortable working with artificial intelligence-enabled tools and embracing new technologies to improve ways of working.Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.
