Maintenance Engineer, Department: MFS Repairs & Maintenance, Location: Millard Fillmore Suburban, US: NY: WilliamsvilleJob Description Performs skilled services for repair, replacement, modification and installation of physical plant refrigeration, HVAC and other equipment. Requires advanced skills to repair equipment and physical plant associated equipment, such as bearings, shaft alignment, machinery repair and rebuilding from a component level.Responsibilities Repair, replace, modify, and install refrigeration, HVAC, and other physical plant equipment.Diagnose and select course of action for equipment failures.Fabricate stands, bases and supports by cutting, drilling, welding, soldering and brazing as required.Perform related minor electrical, piping and carpentry tasks.Qualifications High school graduate or GED.Current first class City of Buffalo Stationary Engineers license.EPA 608 Universal Certification.Minimum four (4) years' experience with HVAC‑Refrigeration and boiler room/facility equipment.Ability to follow written and oral instructions.Working Conditions Standard full‑time work hours: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., shift 1.
