As an Maintenance Engineer at The Compton, you'll help ensure our building is safe, functional, and well cared for—so our guests can focus on enjoying their time in the Ozarks. From small repairs to preventive maintenance, your work will help create an environment that feels comfortable, secure, and thoughtfully maintained.What You'll DoMaintain the physical functionality and safety of the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.Respond promptly to guest requests and team member work orders, diagnosing and repairing issues efficiently.Perform maintenance tasks in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, painting, and masonry.Conduct regular inspections to identify preventive maintenance needs.Document repairs and elevate unresolved issues for additional support.Uphold professionalism and consistency in every task, ensuring a well-functioning and welcoming property.What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent; trade school or specialized courses in building maintenance preferred.At least 2 years of experience in building maintenance, repair, or construction.Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.Ability to perform carpentry, repair, renovation, and painting work.Clear communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.A problem-solver with pride in craftsmanship and a focus on safety.Why The ComptonWe believe in taking care of the details—seen and unseen—that shape every guest experience.
