Responsibilities include maintaining rotating equipment (compressors, turbines, pumps), fixed equipment (heat exchangers, cold boxes), and auxiliary systems (chillers, cooling towers).
The engineer leads predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and addresses chronic asset issues, aiming to optimize performance and reliability.
They assist in cost estimation, turnaround planning, and continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Six Sigma.
The position involves office and field work with 20-30% travel and requires off-hours accessibility.
Qualifications include an Engineering degree or extensive experience, certifications in vibration analysis, and proven technical skills in mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance.
Preferred qualifications include higher-level vibration certifications, knowledge of industry standards, CMMS systems, and reliability strategies.
