We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with 8+ years in a heavy industrial environment and a strong focus on rotating equipment reliability. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, uptime, and longevity of key assets through proactive maintenance strategies, advanced diagnostics, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in vibration analysis and a hands‑on approach to solving complex equipment challenges.Key ResponsibilitiesLead reliability and maintenance efforts for rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, motors, turbines, and gearboxesPerform and interpret vibration analysis to diagnose equipment health, identify failure modes, and recommend corrective actionsDevelop and execute predictive and preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend asset lifeConduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) on critical equipment failures and implement sustainable corrective actionsCollaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and maintenance strategiesSupport equipment overhauls, installations, and commissioning activitiesEvaluate and improve lubrication practices, alignment procedures, and balancing of rotating assetsUtilize CMMS systems to track maintenance activities, analyze trends, and drive data-informed decisionsProvide technical guidance and training to maintenance personnel on best practices and condition monitoring techniquesEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standardsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)8+ years of maintenance or reliability engineering experience in a heavy industrial environment (e.g., manufacturing, petrochemical, power generation, steel, or similar)Strong expertise in rotating equipment systems and componentsDemonstrated experience with vibration analysis and condition monitoring techniquesProficiency in root cause analysis methodologies and reliability‑centered maintenance (RCM) principlesExperience with alignment (laser preferred), balancing, and lubrication best practicesFamiliarity with CMMS platforms and maintenance planning toolsStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on mindsetPreferred CertificationsVibration Analysis Certification (e.g., ISO Category I)Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or similar#J-18808-Ljbffr
