The Maintenance Electrician is tasked with repairing, installing, replacing, and testing electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances. They utilize hand tools and testing instruments to inspect and maintain various electrical systems, ensuring all work is conducted in compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities: • Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances. • Inspect and test electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits. • Use testing instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, voltmeters, testing lamps, or growlers to isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment. • Replace faulty switches, sockets, and other elements of electrical systems. • Dismantle electrical machinery and replace malfunctioning electrical or mechanical parts like gears, brushes, and armatures. • Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures, and complete circuits according to diagram specifications. • Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures. • Estimate time and material costs for electrical projects. • Requisition new electrical supplies and equipment as needed.

Qualifications: • Valid electricians license required. • Proven experience as a maintenance electrician or in a similar role. • Proficiency in using hand tools and testing instruments for electrical work. • Well-developed knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods. • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints. • Demonstrated ability to work individually and as part of a team. • Exemplary troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. • Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders.
