What You'll Do:
- Install, troubleshoot, and program PLCs, AC/DC drives, control circuits, and conduit systems
- Diagnose and repair equipment failures across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Read and work from blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical layouts
- Operate precision tools and equipment including hoists, engine lathes, and power tools
- Train and mentor apprentice-level maintenance personnel
Requirements
- Journeyman Electrician Certificate (state-approved 4-year apprenticeship with 8,000 OJT hours)
- Working knowledge of at least four maintenance disciplines: electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, plumbing, and/or welding
- Proficiency with PLCs, digital drives, sensors, relays, and limit switches
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a demanding manufacturing environment
