Top Requirements:
3-5+ years of experience as a maintenance electrician in the industrial maintenance industry (refer to internal note)
Working knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance processes, including interpreting schematics, using industrial networking tools/standards, and supporting basic pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) by diagnosing faults in ladder logic, I/O modules, sensors, and field wiring using software tools (e.g., RSLogix/Studio 5000, TIA Portal) to quickly restore equipment operation.

Job Description:
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for a permanent full-time position in the Louisville, KY area, with a strong emphasis on diagnosing & repairing electrical systems on industrial equipment. This technician will focus on troubleshooting and diagnosing PLC-controlled systems, using tools such as a multimeter to identify electrical issues, while reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic to support system repairs and updates, and working closely with production to quickly resolve equipment problems. Daily responsibilities include completing work orders and preventative maintenance with a focus on electrical reliability, performing daily walk-throughs, addressing emergency breakdowns, and troubleshooting a wide range of industrial machinery. Mechanical repairs may be required as needed, but the primary focus is on electrical work and system performance.
