Position Overview

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and play a vital role in supporting a high-performance manufacturing environment. In this position, you will be responsible for preventive, planned, and emergency maintenance activities that keep production equipment operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex systems, working hands-on with advanced equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced production setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, planned, and emergency maintenance on production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems.
  • Support equipment changeovers and complete scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues in a live production environment with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure equipment consistently meets production and performance standards.
  • Collaborate closely with maintenance, production, and support teams to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Complete all required training in compliance with Adient and customer standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Journeyman Card from the Department of Labor is a plus.
  • Prior experience as a Millwright, Electrician, or Machine Repair Technician within an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in automotive sheet metal stamping preferred.
  • Experience working with large transfer and progressive dies is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs required.
  • Ability to work Second Shift: 1:45 p.m. – 9:45 p.m.
  • Comfortable working in a unionized manufacturing environment.
