Are you ready for a leadership role that truly matters? Amoroso Woodridge is hiring a Director of Maintenance for our Harrisburg location. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with expertise in large facility management, vendor relations, and hands-on repairs. More importantly, we need a leader who leads with compassion and empathy, someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with our residents and making their home a better place.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field
  • Familiarity with cleaning materials, equipment, and general repair tools
  • Proficiency with basic hand tools and power tools
  • Experience in commercial painting, drywall repair, and replacement
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • On-Call Weekends and Holidays (as needed)
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, plastering, and mechanical work
  • Maintain the facility by repairing walls, baseboards, doors, ceilings, mirrors, and windows, as well as handling trash removal
  • Move and arrange furniture as needed to complete assignments efficiently
  • Coordinate daily maintenance tasks with nursing services when working in resident areas
  • Follow established maintenance schedules and supervisor instructions in accordance with facility policies and procedures
  • Ensure the upkeep of the facility's grounds, including mowing, trimming, sweeping, and maintaining parking areas and driveways
  • Replace light bulbs, including exit and overhead lights, to maintain a safe environment
  • Assist in executing the Preventive Maintenance Program to ensure all machinery and equipment remain in optimal working condition
  • Respond promptly to unscheduled or emergency maintenance requests as needed
