Maintenance Director - Eagle Point Senior Living

Maintenance Director position available at Eagle Point Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community. This full-time, on-site role is located in Appleton, WI 54911, USA.

Eagle Point Senior Living, opened in 2018, is located near downtown Appleton, WI, and overlooks the beautiful Fox River. The community provides Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services in a 136-unit, apartment style setting. The Maintenance Director will assist in the repair, upkeep, and maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment. Duties include:

  • Perform all duties concerned with electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing, painting, floor care, and various equipment.
  • Coordinate audits and inspections for safety and facilities readiness.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and corrective actions.
  • Perform assigned housekeeping duties including trash removal, mopping, cleaning, etc. in accordance with facility policy.
  • Address and correct work orders to maintain building and equipment operation.
  • Assist in the purchasing of supplies and equipment for departmental operation, may require vehicle operation.
  • Assist in the supervision of outside contractor services.
  • Assist in the inspection of building, equipment, and grounds on a regular basis to ensure compliance with codes and regulations and to maintain proper operation.

Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, technical certification or associate degree, proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or manager, preferably in property management, experience in health care (3-5 years), ability to read blueprints, manuals, and technical documents, and a valid driver's license.
