Position Summary:
Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, clean, well-kept, healthy and adequately supplied environment for clients and staff; under the direction and supervision of the Director of Operations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Actively involved with conserving physical assets of the facility, both administratively and residentially.
- Reviews and promptly responds to reports and recommendations as assigned and directed by Director of Operations.
- Monitors day-to-day repairs and maintenance of the facility and reports all housing issues to Director of Operations.
- Perform repairs, painting, small job installs, and other tasks on a timely basis.
- Product knowledge of appliances and warranty information as well as damage costs.
- Accurately organize inventory facility supplies, equipment and tools.
- Submit weekly supply requests to Director of Operations.
Knowledge, Education, & Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations and trainings
- Competent in organizational, time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and prioritize task with minimal supervision
Employment Status: Full-time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm with on-call rotation
Work Location: On-site - Crownsville, MD
Compensation: Pay Range: $21.00-24.00 per hour
