Maintenance Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

Daily Maintenance Execution:

• Operate as the main maintenance technician on site, completing maintenance tasks as directed • Act as the go-to maintenance expert for the facility

Maintenance Planning and Coordination:

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate all breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance programs, projects, and daily activities with Manufacturing and Site Leadership • Optimize production runs and minimize downtime

Inventory and Parts Management:

• Manage inventory control by analyzing stock quantities of spare parts • Recommend stocking levels and ensure availability of materials to complete maintenance work efficiently

Contractor and Vendor Coordination:

• Organize and schedule on-site contractors • Maintain professional relationships with vendors • Coordinate planned contract work to support maintenance activities

CMMS Management:

• Maintain and manage the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) • Ensure accurate work order entry • Conduct audits and analyze work order data to improve maintenance processes

Safety and Compliance:

• Participate in plant audits and maintain records • Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards

Continuous Improvement:

• Lead improvements to existing preventative maintenance and technical procedures • Develop new procedures based on technical information and practical feedback

Requirements

Must-haves:

• Minimum 2-5 years' experience in an industrial maintenance role with a technical background in manufacturing/electro-mechanical equipment • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation to manage daily maintenance activities and inventory • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CMMS software for maintenance planning and tracking • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly and concisely across all organizational levels

Nice-to-haves:

• Previous team leadership or maintenance planning experience • Knowledge of occupational health & safety standards • Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills
