Maintenance Clerk

Compensation Includes

  • Starting Pay Rate of $22-27/hour - depending on experience

Overview

The Maintenance Clerk provides integrated administration, planning, and MRO support to the Asset Care organization. This role is responsible for supporting preventive maintenance scheduling, material readiness, CMMS data accuracy, inventory control, and maintenance coordination to ensure reliable and compliant maintenance execution in accordance with OPX360 Asset Care standards.

 

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities

  •  Support development, scheduling, and maintenance of Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs within the CMMS
  • Create, update, and release PM work orders at defined frequencies
  • Coordinate PM readiness with Maintenance Supervisors, ensuring parts, documentation, and job plans are available
  • Manage parts room operations including organization, issuing, receiving, and 5S compliance
  • Maintain accurate inventory records; perform cycle counts and discrepancy investigations
  • Kit and stage materials for PM, PdM, and planned maintenance work
  • Create, update, and close maintenance work orders ensuring data accuracy (labor, downtime, parts)
  • Maintain asset hierarchy and BOM accuracy in the CMMS
  • Support backlog management through reporting and status updates
  • Process purchase orders and requisitions as assigned
  • Support maintenance documentation, audits, and OPX360 compliance activities
  • Assist with tracking and administrative support of capital (CapEx) maintenance projects
  • Perform all duties in compliance with Novolex safety policies and procedures

Candidate Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment preferred
  • CMMS experience required; Maintenance Connection experience preferred
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally
