About the role


As a CBRE Maintenance Associate, you will be responsible for performing a variety of basic custodial, building, and other maintenance duties.


This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.


What you’ll do


•Set up, tear down and reset tables, chairs, and staging for meetings and corporate events throughout the building.


•Clean and organize event spaces, including hallways and storage areas.


•Maintain cleanliness, repairs and organization of assigned workspaces.


•Perform physical tasks such as loading, unloading, and moving materials.


•Respond to employee desk and office lockouts and manages replacement keys.


•Complete general labor work as assigned. This includes office furniture repairs, replacing ceiling and carpet tile, and other physical ad hoc requests.


•Assist internal employees with office space relocation by delivering, collecting packing supplies and moving boxes to new locations.


•Help maintenance staff, engineers, and company vendors with special projects as needed. Review work upon completion of a project to ensure all deliverables are achieved.


•Answer common inquiries from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.


•Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.


•Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.


•Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.


•Follow government and company regulations related to building operations and work safety.


What you’ll need


•Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.


•High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.


•Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.


•Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.


•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.


•Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
