As a Maintenance Assistant, you'll perform routine and preventative maintenance on buildings, grounds, and production machinery, helping to keep operations running smoothly.
What Youll Do
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Performing routine and preventative maintenance on facilities and production equipment
- Supporting building and ground upkeep including painting, plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical work
- Assisting with minor maintenance on forging presses and furnaces
- Documenting maintenance activities and completing required paperwork
- Assisting with scrap recovery and material handling activities
What Youll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- High School diploma or GED
- Basic mechanical and maintenance aptitude and willingness to learn
- Desire to be trained into a maintenance technician role
- Previous maintenance or manufacturing background preferred
- Ability to follow safety procedures and detailed instructions
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Valid Driver's license

Location & Schedule:
This is an on-site position in Albany, OR, offering a Monday-Friday day shift with occasional swing shifts.
