POSITION: MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR WORKER
EMPLOYER: THE WOODLANDS RETIREMENT COMMUNITY, LLC
Position Duties Perform a variety of tasks to ensure maintenance and upkeep of premises. Perform general plumbing tasks including changing faucets, repairing toilets, snaking drains, and repairing old lines. Inspect and maintain electric motors by checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and performing other preventive maintenance tasks. Perform basic repairs of building walls, floors and stairs, including performing dry wall patch work. Engage in tasks like pipe fitting, HVAC maintenance, insulating, welding, and carpentry. Identify and place requisition for parts and supplies that are needed for repairs and day to day operations.
Position Requirements:
6 months of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The 6 months of experience must include performing repeated physical movements, including but not limited to bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, lifting up to 100 pounds, and pushing and pulling.
