PRIMARY FUNCTION     
This position will perform functions to maintain facilities owned and leased by the Clinic.  This may include equipment or systems installation, facilities equipment repair, preventive maintenance, painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, grounds maintenance, housekeeping, transportation functions, and other projects.
 
 
PRINCIPLE DUTIES
  1. Clean exhaust intakes.
  2. Clean outside windows and screens.
  3. Perform groundskeeping tasks, as required: Mowing, Trimming, Mulching, Liter clean up, etc.
  4. Empty outside trash receptacles.
  5. Clear snow and ice from parking lot and sidewalks.
  6. Assemble furniture.
  7. Maintain light fixtures.
  8. Perform routine HVAC system maintenance.
  9. Maintain plumbing and electrical equipment/systems.
  10. Sets up tables, tents, etc. for organizational and community outreach activities.
  11. Destroy confidential material scheduled for discard.
  12. Perform delivery and/or courier duties, as needed.
  13. Clean and properly maintain White House Clinics vehicles.
  14. Maintain the structural integrity, operational readiness and overall appearance of White House Clinic facilities.
  15. Provide superior customer service to all patients, external customers (visitors from other offices, hospital, community agencies, etc.), and co-workers.  Serves as an ambassador of the White House Clinics in all conversations and interactions with these parties.
  16. Acknowledge that White House Clinics strive to be a patient-centered medical home and, as such, prescribe to team-based delivery of primary care services.  Recognizes that the completion of the above listed duties illustrates the employee's role in aforementioned team-based care and accepts responsibility for being an active member of the team, including identification of quality improvement opportunities.
  17. Maintains personal compliance with all White House Clinic policies and procedures (OSHA, HIPAA, Standing Orders, etc.)
  18. Assists with other duties or in other departments as instructed by supervisor.
  19. Cooperate fully with all aspects of Corporate Compliance Plan.
  20. Participates in all safety programs which may include assignment to an emergency response team.
  21. Perform tasks necessary to ensure the safety, health and welfare of facility occupants entrusted in your care.
  22. Performs other duties as assigned.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED required.  
Minimum Work Experience: Two years of experience working in facilities maintenance preferred.  HVAC certification as well as other certifications preferred, but not required. 
Required License: Possess and maintain a valid Kentucky driver's license.
 
Qualifications
Knowledge of maintenance functions and standards, including safety and sanitation.  Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, tools, and equipment.  Knowledge of common safety hazards to identify potential safety problems.  Skill in operating maintenance equipment and machines.

Demonstrating excellent customer service through his/her attitude and actions, consistent with the standards contained in the Mission and Vision and Values of the organization. Maintains clinic standards for a clean and quiet patient environment to maintain a positive patient care experience. Promotes culture of safety for patients and employees through proper identifications, reporting, documentation, and prevention.
 
ACCOUNTABILITY
Accountable to the Facilities Manager.
 
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Position will require frequent travel between clinics in company vehicle.
 
SALARY
Starting at $15.04/hour, based on experience.
 
WORK HOURS
A position exempt from wage and hour laws, this position requires 37.5 + hours per week with an irregular schedule.  Evenings will be required on a regular basis; weekend work necessary on occasion.
