Candidate will be required to successfully complete in-house Forklift Certification.
Candidate must possess strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Candidate must be capable of working overtime, without prior notice, as required to complete essential tasks
Must be knowledgeable in the safe operation of various types of hand and power tools
Candidate must possess the ability to learn, adapt, and function independently with minimal supervision
Candidate must exhibit leadership qualities and work well with others in a team environment
Will be expected to demonstrate precision measurement and blueprint/schematic reading
Physical requirements include ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs., occasionally lift up to 75 lbs; walk, stand, stoop, bend, kneel, and/or climb
Work from ladders of various heights up to 16 feet
Position will also participate in periodic training to maintain certifications, job skills, or acquire new capabilities
Position will be responsible for proper handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals during regular duties and as a member emergency response team
Compliance with all company safety rules and work policies is required
Technical Certificate or Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance is preferred
Candidate will be enabled during employment to pursue this qualification with timely completion
Upon completion, candidate will be eligible for promotion to regular Maintenance
Certificate can be waived based upon 5 years+ experience in industrial maintenance
Additional duties may as assigned by the Group Leader or Supervisor
